Bravo for bromeliads! Otherwise known as air plants, these humidity-loving whimsical plants are easy to care for, even if you don't exactly have a green thumb. This Tillandsia Plagiotropica is native to the foggy lakeside forests of Guatemala and San Salvador, and prefers fairly cool, well-ventilated locations. When in bloom, this spiky, silvery-leafed plant has beautiful white flowers.
For best care, mist your air plant with a small spray bottle or dunk in water for 15-20 minutes no more than once a week. Do not plant with potting soil or dirt.
