Bravo for bromeliads! Otherwise known as air plants, these humidity-loving whimsical plants are easy to care for, even if you don't exactly have a green thumb. Tillandsia Bandensis is a charmingly spiky air plant native to Uruguay that, when in bloom, displays tiny purple flowers. These plants look lovely wherever they're displayed, but take their name to heart: do not use them with potting soil or dirt!
For best care, mist your air plant with a small spray bottle or dunk in water for 15-20 minutes no more than once a week.
