Hammond's Candies

Carl Hammond had attended one full day of high school before he decided it simply was not for him. When his mother insisted he find a job, Carl became a candymaker’s apprentice. In 1920, he started his own candy company, doing everything from recipe development to sales all by himself. Even throughout the Great Depression, Hammond’s Candies thrived thanks to Carl’s attention to detail and quality--standards they continue to uphold to this day!
