Hallelu-jah! Sauce was created in 1986 in the kitchen of Thompson's Point of View restaurant in Seattle.
When Carl Thompson, Jr. passed in 2010, his wife, Gail, closed the restaurant. But that didn't stop her loyal Seattle patrons from requesting that Gail bring back the sauce. In celebration of her husband, nicknamed Junebug, Gail Thompson started Junebug's Sauce and continues to own and produce the popular dipping-basting-marinating sauce. Hallelu-jah! indeed!
